You can buy your entrance tickets on-site, at the Hotel-Dieu in Hautefort.

The Museum is not national but municipal. It means that it doesn’t depend from the Ministry of Culture and so Culture Pass are not accepted.

The Museum offers guided tours, workshops, and educational activities for schools.

We recommend about 45 minutes on average for the visit, but half a day is not too long for those who are passionate about medicine’s history !

Of course!  It’s possible to park your camper van in the parking lot behind the Hautefort Town Hall, and you’ll be approximatively 109 yards from the Museum.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed inside the Museum, except for guide dogs. However, small animals carried in a bag or basket are accepted.
